    Dear Susan Mulder!
I am a Washington state artist and the executive director of a 501(c)3, The Bearing Public Sculpture Project which is a project in-the-maiking and focuses on women in and after war. Your organization retweeted our message recently.
I am inquiring since you support national and global art activism, if you would be able to advocate our cause on your website. We are staring our fundraiser this summer for the sculpture.
    Thank you,
    Ildikó Kalapács

I will discuss discuss with our local chapter here in Michigan regarding how to best support your project.

Several board members are involved in our blog. Susan Mulder is not active in our chapter at this time.

is it necessary for me to live in Michigan to be a member of WCA Michigan chapter?

Absolutely not! Where are you located? Are you already a member of national? Do you know if there is a chapter near you? I would advise you to go to and look at your options for membership. No matter what chapter you join you must be a member in good standing to the national as well. You can become a member online at the national website for both national and any or all of the chapters of your choosing. Good to connect and we look forward to getting to know you.
